I liked it so I've stayed here each week and I recommend this place if you need an inexpensive room for one day or 8 weeks like me.
It's nice to spend your money at an establishment that works hard to earn it.
I've always slept well here and never had a problem during my stays.
I stayed here the first week while working as a contractor in a local business. Great price and a really quiet, comfortable room.
I had family staying there this morning who checked in just a little after 6am this after the trailer that they were pulling lost a wheel and tire on the interstate. The trailer contained a car that broke down in Dallas last night on the ladies that were in it. Having no way to fix the car or the trailer, they and the "rescuers" decided to stop at this hotel and get some rest for the day and fix the trailer this afternoon. They were met at the counter by one of the hotel employees. As they were checking in the employee told them that check out time was 11:00am the same day. She charged them FULL price for the room. Paying full price for a room is not a problem if you are staying a FULL day. When questioned about this, the employee simply said that if they were going to stay past 11:00 that they had to pay for two days. Feeling that they had NO other choice they rented the room and were forced to turn the room in at 11:00am after having been up all night loading the car and driving. When I was notified of this, I called the hotel and spoke with a young lady who refused to identify herself.Throughout the course of cou conversation, she revealed to me that she was the young lady that rented the room to them. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me that she was the "Vice Manager" but still refused to identify herself by name saying "you don't need to know my name." I asked for the managers name and she said that his name was Danny. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me that he wasn't going to be there until Saturday. When I questioned the policy about checking out by 11:00am on the same day, she said that it is what her manager told her. When I first asked to speak with the manager she said "what do you need to speak with the manager for?". That threw up red flags right away. After being persistent about speaking with the manager, she said that she would call him and then call me back. I told her that I did not mind waiting on hold. She said "Ok hold" and set the phone down. I could hear her speaking to someone on another phone but could not understand what she was saying as I do not speak nor comprehend the language that she was speaking. After about five minutes she picked the phone back up and said that I can call the manager and gave me a phone number. I made an attempted to call the number to no avail. I am in awe that a place such as this would put a family out on the street in harms way being in the situation that they are in after only getting a couple of hours of sleep leaving them in danger of having an accident due to fatigue. One might say "well they have to fix the trailer so they would be up and moving anyways". Well the plan was that person that was going to buy the parts for the trailer and fix it was going to do so while the driver was resting. Instead, they are in the parking lot of this hotel trying to get parts to fix the trailer so that they can find another hotel to stay another night because the driver needs to get some rest. They have a four hour drive ahead of them and feel that it is unsafe to drive with the driver only having had a couple of hours of sleep. I feel as though the young lady who referred to herself as the "Vice Manager" could have been a little less rude with her tone and a lot more professional. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances what so ever.
Average budget accommodations, slept really well. Management is very friendly. Good place too take a break.
This place was amazing! Everyone was friendly and personable. I came late at night and they treated me with respect and welcomed me with a smile. The room was one of the cleanest ones I been in. The bed was super clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling. My mother and I are traveling to Galveston, this place made it easier for our trip not to mention budget friendly. We definitely will be staying there again on our way back! Thanks you guys for making our trip easier!!
It is a pretty good sized room. Breakfast was not edible. Very old honey buns and waffles. Went to Burger King next door.i would stay here again.
Family run business and they work very hard to make your stay comfortable. I cannot say enough how nice, polite, and helpful they are.
